Remembering Lemuria...
"Lemurian Home Coming" was my first album of a new kind of music. I named it the way I did because it felt like it came out of a reconnecting to this magical and mystical place... a place I once knew so well.
Creating this music was a process of wondrous discovery. Re-connecting in a "time machine"-like way with an ancient reality. As if it was yesterday.
Lemuria
There are many legends about this mysterious and magical place. Many tales have been told of an ancient land with astounding beauty.
For me Lemuria means Home.
When I began this musical journey I had no idea where it was going. I just knew that creating these sounds felt so good. It was like discovering a crevice in my reality which I always sensed was there. Something strong was shining through and I just knew .. this is the sound of Home. The sound of where we all come from.
Many people ask me about this music. Although there's a lot more structure to it than it might seem - I'll admit when it comes to the point where I begin to sing in the vocals .. I have no idea what will happen. It feels as what I imagine channeling words must be like. Only my channelling is music.
The language
When I sing this kind of music I exclusively have my awareness on the sound itself. It's like my left brain steps outside and takes a break. People ask me ".. what language are you singing?" - and the answer is.. a very old one.
I don't sing specific words that have specific meaning as we know language today. Instead I "tune in" to the music and allow the vocal parts to appear. It feels like watching and guiding the ride at the same time.
Afterwards I listen to the sounds I sing and I always feel an ancient connection to the "place" they come from .. a place my brain doesn't understand. But my heart knows the truth of it.
I sense what I sing comes from a time where language was something entirely different than it is today. The information stored within the very sound itself exceeds the cognitive information of our modern day language by dimensions.
Interdimensional Music
This music enhances your awareness of reality. Your life goes "High Definition" so to speak. If you listen to the music in a quiet space - it expands your perception to the point of sensing other dimensions. This is a significant quality of this music which was present right from the beginning.
